Welcome to Horizon Village

Horizon Village is a beautiful, smoke free community where you can relax and enjoy a care-free lifestyle and maintenance-free home in Grants Pass, Oregon. Designed and built for active people over the age of 55, the village consists exclusively of spacious cottage-style duplex homes and single-family cottages for rent. A choice of one, two or three bedroom rental homes is available.

Here you will enjoy a lifestyle that both enables and encourages active and independent living while enjoying a special community of like minded friends. Each of our pet friendly and spacious cottages are truly homes, complete with kitchen and laundry, even a fireplace and an attached garage.

Our small and intimate community includes 56 single story residences (there are no steps at Horizon Village). The community is built on 6 acres with views of trees and surrounding hills, and a small creek passes through the village with plenty of places where you can discover nature at your door step. We're constantly being reminded by our residents that for a truly carefree life, Horizon Village is simply the best place to live.

    7. They want time to pursue personal projects or travel without having to worry about maintaining their home base.
    8. They realize that their physical needs will evolve. Horizon Village homes are accessible for physically challenged individuals - all units are wheelchair accessible and substantially compliant with the ADA (Americans with Disability Act).
    9. They want security in the neighborhood, and want to be surrounded by people who look out for their neighbors. The old saying, “there is safety in numbers” appeals to them. (Horizon Village has security patrols.)
    10. They want to socialize, have a choice about neighborhood activities, and get involved if they choose to. Horizon Village has a community/recreation room in which workshops, presentations and social events are held.
